“Riverbed” is an original abstract painting in Venetian plaster on a birch wood panel. It’s mixed with pigments and acrylic paint in layers, some that have been knocked back to reveal the paint beneath. Then it’s burnished, sealed in beeswax and hand polished. It has a beautiful, deep shine similar to marble with slight texture variations in the surface. It measures 24 x 36 x 1.5”d and is framed in a silver leaf finish floating frame measuring 25.5 x 37.5 x 2”d that comes wired and ready to hang.
