“Peaceful Sea” is an original abstract painting in Venetian plaster on a birch wood panel. It’s mixed with pigments and acrylic paint in layers, some that have been knocked back to reveal the paint beneath. Then it’s burnished, sealed in beeswax and hand polished. It has a beautiful, deep shine similar to marble with slight texture variations in the surface. This is the set of two that measures 16 x 31 x 2”d each and is framed in a white oak floating frame that comes wired and ready to hang.
